Cancellation Policy

Fair and transparent cancellation rules for clients and freelancers. Your money is protected with Razorpay Escrow.

100% Refundable Cases

  • Cancel Before Start: If you cancel before freelancer accepts the proposal, you get 100% instant refund to your wallet.
  • Client Rejects & Freelancer No Response for 48 Hours: If client rejects the delivery and freelancer does not respond / resolve the issue within 48 hours, client will get 100% full refund. No questions asked.
  • Freelancer Non-Responsive: Freelancer does not start work within 24 hours or is offline for 48+ hours after payment.
  • Fake / Plagiarized Work: If freelancer delivers copied or fake work, client gets 100% refund after our team verification.

Non-Refundable Cases

After Approval - No Refund

Once you click Approve & Release Payment in the workspace, the payment is instantly released to the freelancer's wallet. After approval, the project becomes Non-Refundable. Please check the work properly before approving.

  • Membership fees (₹499 / ₹999) are non-refundable after 7 days or after using more than 3 proposals.
  • If you shared files or work outside Freelancerjobs.in Work platform, refund protection is void.

How to Cancel or Get Refund?

1. Go to Dashboard > My Projects > View Workspace > Click Reject / Cancel.
2. Select reason and add proof if any.
3. Freelancer gets 48 hours to respond.
4. If no response, our team auto-refunds 100% to your wallet within 24 hours.
5. Wallet refund is instant, Bank/UPI refund takes 2-3 working days via Razorpay.
