  • Verification Data: Aadhaar last 4 digits, PAN (for high-value payouts), GSTIN for clients.
  • Profile Data: Skills, portfolio links, bio, experience, profile photo.
  • Transaction Data: Payment IDs, UPI IDs, escrow amounts, wallet history via Razorpay.
  • Usage Data: Chat messages in workspace, file uploads, login activity, IP address.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

  • Verify your identity and prevent fake profiles.
  • Enable secure escrow payments and payouts.
  • Match clients with the right freelancers.
  • Provide dispute resolution with chat/file proof.
  • Send important updates about projects and payments.
  • Improve our platform security and user experience.

3. Escrow & Payment Privacy

All payments are processed via Razorpay Escrow, a trusted RBI-authorized payment gateway. Freelancerjobs.in does not store your full UPI PIN, card number, or CVV. Money paid by clients is held securely in an escrow nodal account and released to freelancers only after client approval. This ensures 100% safety for both parties.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

  • Razorpay: For processing secure payments.
  • Verification Partners: For Aadhaar/PAN verification (with your consent).
  • Legal Authorities: If required by Indian law or to prevent fraud.

5. Your Rights

As per Indian IT Act and DPDP Act 2023, you have the right to:

  • Access and download your data.
  • Update or correct your profile information.
  • Request deletion of your account and data.
  • Opt-out of promotional emails.
